Felix and Fingers performer Mike Sherman headed to Sugarcreek Township, Ohio to play for Lisa’s 50th Birthday Backyard Party. It was his second time performing for this family as he had played at Lisa’s daughter’s graduation party a couple of years ago. And they liked him so much, they asked for him back and Mike was more than happy to oblige.
Lisa’s 50th Birthday Backyard Party
Sugarcreek Township is a delightful small town in Ohio but we’re even more delighted with its residents. Mike set up his equipment on the back porch of the family home and as soon as he started, it was a non-stop sing a long. He played songs from Guns-N-Roses such as Sweet Child O’ MIne and Patience. Eminem songs made the request list too with Love the Way You Lie and The Real Slim Shady. Wagon Wheel from Darius Rucker is one of the birthday girl’s favorite songs so we played that when they were carrying out the cake. She was quite appreciative that we remembered to play her song.
The party was lemon themed and delicious food and succulent drinks rounded out the theme. We especially loved the Italian Mules. It was a little twist on the famous Moscow Mules and definitely a great choice. It was so fun to see the love that Lisa’s family and friends showed her. We were delighted to be a part of that. Backyard parties can make intimate gatherings that bring out the best in everyone. And this backyard party rocked! So many great tunes and Mother Nature was on point with beautiful weather. What a special night it was and Felix and Fingers was happy to hear how much the guests loved us and had the best time ever. Mike received so many wonderful compliments it kept him smiling all the way home.
