Happy Fall Y’all! sorry…let me try that again…
October is here and F&F is finishing off a record setting wedding season. After averaging around 5 weddings per weekend, the team is changing gear for our upcoming holiday season and corporate events/fundraisers. But be aware, if you haven’t booked your December dates yet, let us know ASAP as our weekends are almost completely filled!
Among the many additions to F&F this past season is our new vlog (video-blog) series. These vlogs cover everything from music mashups to choreographed animals to “instructional videos”. We’re always looking for new ideas, so give us a challenge! We’ll make a vlog about anything – see for yourself here.
So you don’t live in Chicago but want to book F&F? Did you know this past season has also taken our players across the country on bookings? Amarillo (TX) to Atlantic City (NJ) has had us rocking events – no venue is too far away! F&F isn’t your local bar show, we actually specialize in private events.
F&F Social Media has undergone an overhaul. Take a minute and follow us on Instagram (@FelixAndFingers), Twitter and Facebook. Need a better reason? How about this…
Give us a shout out on any of these platforms and we’ll enter you in a chance to win a free mini piano shell or lighting upgrade for your date.Submissions will be collected through10/23/15. Just don’t forget to tag us!
(Winners will also be announced via social media)
Event Tip of the Month: Bar Placement
Dueling Pianos is a great way to make an event unique and memorable, but being an interactive show, there are certain floor plans that can either help or hinder our show. We encourage you to speak with one of our consultants while planning your setup, but for a quick tip: try to keep the bar near the entertainment. If the bar is placed at the opposite end of a large room or in an entirely different room, you’ll find many people will congregate at this location. Many planners might assume if guests can hear the music and drink, it must be a win-win, right? Well…no. Dueling Pianos works great when people engage with the show, so move that bar towards the pianos. You’ll definitely find more people getting involved.
Felix and Fingers is striving to offer the absolute best in event entertainment, period. Feel free to check out our shows listed to the right (have some new public venues!), and if you’re looking to secure a date just reply to this email or call us directly.
