Ever been to a party at a fire and rescue station? The Cedar Bluffs Fire Rescue Department Private Party was a first for Felix and Fingers. This was a party for the entire fire and rescue crews in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska. Doug Marshall and Nick Slater burnt down the house at this gig! We hope everyone enjoyed the party!

This party, as was previously stated, was a first for Felix and Fingers. The Cedar Bluffs Fire and Rescue Department was a fun place to have a gathering. Burning Down The House
To be honest, we didn’t literally burn down a house. But we did, by the way, figuratively burn down the house. Everyone had a blast! We had our equipment set up beside a fire truck and between racks of equipment. They were a wild bunch. As a matter of fact, the firefighters decided to pretend they were in the WWF and began to fake wrestle. It was pretty entertaining. About 15 minutes in, the firefighters dropped the uniforms for more casual dress and started to really party.
Felix and Fingers love getting requests. Indeed, this was a small but mighty group. They brought up plenty of requests. We had a handful of people who were up dancing and singing in front of the pianos. The interactions with the crowd were great, lots of fun and laughs. We played so many songs about fire. For example, Light My Fire by The Doors, We Didn’t Start the Fire by Billy Joel, and Burning Down The House by Talking Heads. Additionally, the President of the Fire Department was a big fan of John Michael Montgomery. He sang along with us twice! It’s awesome to have guest performers. There was also leg-guitar playing and more dancing of all sorts. This was a raucous bunch!
