Felix and Fingers brought their award-winning dueling pianos to a surprise St Charles Elk Club Lodge birthday party! The birthday girl was very surprised, but the real shock for us was how amazing the St Charles Elk Club Lodge was. The staff was beyond excellent and the food was delectable. We hope to return soon! Surprise St Charles Elk Club Lodge Birthday Party
The birthday girl’s loved ones got her to the St Charles Elk Club Lodge by convincing her they were hosting a jewelry party. Apparently she’s a collector of costume and antique jewelry. Sneaky sneaky. You should’ve seen her face when we handed her husband the control to the projector and he started playing a slide show of her growing up. They even invited a guest singer to sing as we played I Hope You Dance by Leann Womack. He stayed around to join in on a few other country staples throughout the night. It was a great collaboration!
Another Year of Fabulous
The St. Charles Elk Club Lodge birthday party seemed designed just for us. There was a stage all along one of the walls that we set up on which still left plenty of room for folks to join us. And maybe because of that, this proved to be one of our more interactive shows. The guest singer, as we said, was amazing, but our favorite moment was when the birthday girl herself joined us to rap Ice Ice Baby. It felt like Vanilla Ice was with us on stage! She had her work cut out for her though. A little boy almost became the star of the night when he requested Thunderstuck by ACDC followed by Space Oddity by David Bowie. That kid is going places!
