What a great wedding. At the back of the Piazza Messina, our players performed a wedding there last year. We kind of fell in love with Piazza Messina. We knew right away this venue was just a very original and beautiful space. Even with it being February, this couple was lucky enough to have an outdoor ceremony. The couple married on a concrete patio next to the lake and main space with permanent arches and gazebos. It was beautiful. Guests wrapped themselves in blankets and cozied up for a short, lovely ceremony. With its stunning Tucson and modern backdrop, Piazza Messina is a top-notch event center. Following COVID restrictions, the team at Piazza Messina always does an outstanding job making sure everything is perfect. And we don’t say that lightly. Russo’s catering outdid themselves and brought out everything they had, Russo’s is always delicious and this Piazza Messina wedding celebration was spot on. They nailed it. Deliciously perfect!
A Fantastic Married Couple and Great Music All Night Long
Above all, working with this bride and groom was like walking on sunshine. They were the most perfect couple to ask a question and very patient all night long. Blakely and Troy were so in love and just down to earth. This couple just wanted everyone to have an awesome time. Hence, everyone did have an awesome time.
There was a heated walkway. This walkway was closed off with clear plastic, more heaters, and a full bar. Our wireless speaker system was the bomb for this kind of event. The groom’s brother is identical! Instead of a garter toss, the couple actually opted for a lantern send off. All in all, that was romantic indeed.
Our tip jar was overflowing requesting tunes from the 90’s and 2000’s. The crowd could not get enough of Cheeseburger in Paradise by Jimmy Buffett. There were also some great sing alongs such as Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. The best was the late night pizza. It was much needed for these party animals. Came right on time. We had an AMAZING time playing the Piazza Messina wedding party. We look forward to performing at this stunning venue soon!
