The Millbottom Wedding Party
What a unique venue! You can find The Millbottom just west of the state capital building in Jefferson City, Missouri. This premier event space is a totally renovated, historic power plant that dates from the early 1900’s. They have so much to offer and the decor is especially creative. It’s vintage, superbly refurbished space will please even the most finicky of brides as it has everything today’s modern girl desires. The Millbottom can host events of 300 people inside and can expand to a much larger size for indoor/outdoor events. This group was ready to party the second we began to play. They danced like crazy all night long; on the dance floor and on stage with us. With this enthusiastic audience, you can bet we had an awesome time. They especially seemed to gravitate towards country music so we played such songs as Martina McBride’s This One’s for the Girls, Kenny Chesney’s Come Over, and Fire Away by Chris Stapleton. Of course, no country song loving wedding party would be complete without Garth Brooks’ I Got Friends in Low Places. We couldn’t have finished the show without that one. All in all, it was a great night in Jefferson City. Also, the town was pretty much a ghost town as the lawmakers were on break so our show was the hottest thing going on. So fun!
