Over-the-top birthday parties can be stressful and costly. Oh, and thanks to social media, there’s an increasing need to top whatever you did last year. Not to mention what others are doing. Our client celebrated her private birthday bash the smart way, at her home in Kansas City, Missouri. Felix and Fingers were hired as the entertainment. Happy Birthday Christine!
Private Birthday Bash Kansas City
To tell the truth, this private birthday bash was an event nobody will ever forget. Felix and Fingers brought interactive activities, awesome music and FUN sing along competitions. From delicious catering, to full bar service every little detail about this private birthday bash was EPIC. Our performer for Christine’s birthday event was Will O’Keefe. He brought a ton of energy and had the crowd fill out request forms prior to the show. Christine’s private birthday bash was themed Smoke on Smoke on Smoke! As a matter of fact, there were smoked drinks, smoked meat and hand rolled cigars. This was a super awesome event to provide live soundtrack for!
Celebrating one’s birthday is a special event and Christine shared her private birthday bash with close friends and family. This was a small yet ferocious party crowd. Will played in a HUGE formal room at this mansion in Kansas City, it was big enough to hold at least a 100 people. The hosts were big fans of Elton John and Dave Matthews, which got us on their good side, we actually LOVE those two artists. Everyone enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour with butler passed hors d’oeuvres. We grabbed a few stuffed mushrooms and smoked salmon pinwheels. They were amazing!
Impressed Clients Impeccable Service
To make this private birthday bash more fun, Felix and Fingers had guests participate in some interactive games. To start with, our performer did a rendition of Hot Potato, but with a wireless mic. Guests passed the mic around as Will played whimsical instrumental music. When Will abruptly stopped, the guest stuck with the mic had to hum a part of their favorite song and everyone had to guess. Needless to say, there was a ton of laughter and fun during this game.
Did we mention the food and drink at this private birthday bash was amazing? Justin from KC Top Shelf Bartending put on one heck of a show that night. His service was impeccable! Additionally, there were buffet stations set up around the room offering some of the most delicious food options. After we enjoyed a fabulous brisket sandwich, we finished out dinner playing songs that brought guests out on the floor. Superstitious by Stevie Wonder and Jumpin’ Jack Flash by The Rolling Stones were indeed crowd favorites. As the evening came to an end, our host mentioned to Will she found our event questionnaire quite impressive, being someone who’s company also designs them!
