The Fox Theater Event Center Corporate Celebration Sedalia, MO
The Fox Theater Event Center Corporation Celebration was a great show. Our client Inter-State Studio truly knew how to throw a memorable party. They hired Felix and Fingers! Inter-State also chose a fabulous venue, The Fox Theater Event Center. This venue is not only a historical site, it’s a feast for the eyes. The Fox is dripping with chandeliers and the woodwork is ancient. Hence, lavish neutrality is at its best for your special day. It is true, this is a naturally breathtaking venue indeed.
Kelly Raney (client) was extra friendly and helped with any questions. We immediately bonded over our mutual appreciation of dueling piano music. The Fox is also a great space for visuals. This way your guests will hear and see our show from every angle and corner of the room. Oh and by the way, did we mention the backlighting during The Fox Theater Event Center Corporate Celebration? The staff was incredibly accommodating. Dinner was notably scrumptious. Guests dined on a tasty bacon ranch salad alongside mac n’ cheese. The mac n’ cheese was so delicious, we may or may not have enjoyed a second bowl.
Kick Ass Drum Solo Surprise
After a delicious meal, our crowd was undoubtedly ready to dance and sing. In like manner, Felix was chomping at the bit to pack the dance floor. In the meantime, our show was mostly low-key jazz and background music. This crowd now wanted to chiefly party. For example, our audience was immediately interactive and brought up great song requests. Hence, Felix had no trouble getting this crowd to sing. We had one group totally into Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. This active crowd of party-goers naturally knew all the words!
Felix and Fingers loved the choice of music at The Fox Theater Event Corporate Celebration. Mostly Hip Hop and Rhythm & Blues. Our crowd was so flexible. We thought this was awesome. Above all, a guest (who played the drums) was celebrating his birthday. So naturally, his friends brought him up to perform. After Chris settled into our drum set, he played a kick-ass solo of Old Time Rock and Roll by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. Nicely done Chris and Happy Birthday!
Even more, the event coordinator was kind enough to offer extra drink tickets and leftovers after our set. How awesome is that? Thank you so much! Most importantly, The Fox Theater Event Center Corporate Celebration was a hit. Lastly, we closed out our gig with Dancing Queen by ABBA. Our entire audience sang their hearts out. Everyone sounded amazing. A successful show indeed!
