Looking back, this fabulous July 4th backyard wedding event in Joplin, Missouri was a BLAST! Our solo piano performer Will O’Keefe received backup from Todd Owen as his drummer. Todd was amazing, the crowd adored him. Our performers get excited when booked for themed events and this fabulous July 4th backyard wedding was so much fun! Felix and Fingers wish Eric and Jackie a lifetime of love and happiness!
Fabulous July 4th Backyard Wedding Event Joplin Missouri
When we arrived to perform at this fabulous July 4th backyard wedding event, the heavy rain clouds were causing a set-up scare. Will’s rain dance must’ve worked. During the last 30 minutes of set-up, the sun came out and we were able to perform! Furthermore, EVERYONE came together for this fabulous July 4th backyard wedding event to make it happen. We thought that was awesome team effort!
Everywhere you looked there were patriotic decorations, fresh flowers and even a custom bar complete with a super friendly bartender. We also had a perfectly located stage to perform on with an amazing view of the party!
Eric and Jackie were the most laid back couple we’ve worked with in a long time. Everyone at this wedding truly made us feel like family. From cocktail hour to our last song, guests enjoyed the home grown feel of a summertime wedding. There was also TONS of dancing and singing, helping create the magic for this event. Our performers kept everyone grooving with hits such as American Pie by Don McLean. A crowd favorite indeed!
Spectacular Dueling Piano Grand Finale
After an amazing dinner, Felix sensed this fun-loving crowd was ready to party. Our drummer Todd brought a new depth to the show. Gracious feedback from this reception (and video) confirms that drums are the perfect addition for our solo shows!
As we mentioned above, this show was outdoors and the closest table was about 200 feet away from our stage. Well, by the end of the night, this table had relocated themselves to 50 feet away from us. No matter the distance, EVERYONE sang along and had a great time! For our last song of the night, we DJ’ed Firework by Katy Perry. Will and Todd lined this song up perfectly with Eric and Jackie’s firework show. To be honest, this was THE COOLEST way we’ve EVER seen our dueling piano show end. Hence, this fabulous July 4th backyard wedding event was explosively FUN!
