First off, this Big Cedar Lodge wedding celebration was one of the classiest and visually stunning occasions we’ve had the pleasure to perform at. In all honesty, not only is this venue a remote haven of natural beauty, but it overlooks sparkling Table Rock Lake. In fact, Johnny Morris (founder of Bass Pro Shops) had this destination built for families to connect with the great outdoors. Not only is this America’s premiere wilderness resort, there are actually two full-service marinas, 5 golf courses and luxurious accommodations. Big Cedar Lodge is where you and your guests will make fabulous memories to last a lifetime. Felix and Fingers guarantee it. We’d like wish Haley and Andrew a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you for allowing us be a part of your special day!

Big Cedar Lodge Wedding Celebration Ridgedale Missouri

Big Cedar Lodge Wedding CelebrationWe just can’t say enough about Big Cedar Lodge. To begin with, this Big Cedar Lodge wedding celebration used two main locations for their celebrations. The first congregation used was on Big Cedar’s 4,600 acres of rustic landscape. Guests also enjoyed over 50,000 square feet of an activity center that offered something for just about everyone. Haley and Andrew could not have chosen a more magnificent chapel to exchange their vows in. The first scenic backdrop overlooked the bay. The chapel itself actually looked like out of a fairytale book. Add in the background of the magnificent Ozarks and it simply left one speechless. After the ceremony, the groom sang and played the piano so perfectly for his bride!

Not to be outdone, cocktail hour and the reception were held in a wine cellar. Guests were treated to a museum style surrounding with ancient Native American artifacts looking over the Ozarks. As cocktail hour continued, the groom once again performed a song for his new bride. Not only was it sweet, but so well executed guests were left talking about his performance for the rest of the night. More importantly, everyone in attendance was in for a special surprise as the bride’s sister sang a parody of Does He Love You by Reba McIntire. This gesture was so much fun as the bride’s sister just went for it and sang her heart out. She sounded AMAZING!

A Class Act Wedding

Big Cedar Lodge Wedding CelebrationAs the night continued, the Big Cedar Lodge Wedding celebration moved to a second location. This location was on a bluff and overlooked a natural cave wine cellar. Furthermore, guests were treated to fantastic views of what looked like a Native American art gallery, set up with tables, in a cave that overlooked an infinity pool. As a matter of fact, this was truly jaw dropping. Now let’s talk about the food. If you’re getting the picture of what Big Cedar Lodge offers in general, wait until you taste the cuisine. Everything from summer salads, to beef, salmon, potatoes, roasted veggies and dinner rolls. Oh, and by the way, the honey butter was overall outstanding!

What is more, a special surprise was the groom’s speech. He recited a prayer “written” by his bride about finding the perfect man. What we all assumed was a romantic moment, turned into the most hysterical speech we have ever heard at a wedding! The bride and groom were class act humans, who are very clearly in love. We had an amazing time celebrating with them. We played and sang some good old fashioned singalongs such as Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. To tell the truth, everyone sounded great.

Our performers, T. Duncan Parker and Katrina Nilsen even managed to slip in a massive disco party with Le Freak by Chic. Did we mention that we played their first dance live? Boy oh boy was that beautiful. All in all, everyone had an amazing time at the Big Cedar Lodge wedding celebration. Felix and Fingers thanks everyone who made this first class wedding happen. It was a joy to be a part of. Thank you for making us feel like family.
