Felix and Fingers had the opportunity to perform at a holiday corporate party at a wonderful venue. We had a blast playing at this Treasure Island Resort event and we believe the guests did too! Treasure Island Resort Event
This venue, located in Welch, Minnesota is right along the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin, with lakes and rivers to be found all around the venue. On the inside, the venue is beautiful and newly renovated and also serves as a hotel and casino. The spacious event room held 560 of the company’s employees that turned out to this rocking holiday party. For dinner, they crushed it with an amazing buffet selection that had guests going back for seconds and thirds. For us, they set up the stage in the center of the room, and we loved being able to be in the center of the action and to be able to get our sound out equally to everyone there.
Let’s Party!
One of our roles during the night was to emcee! We emceed and helped give out raffle prizes that the company gave out. Each prize was treated as a “Price is Right” game, and we played upbeat music to accompany whoever was called up on stage and tons of cheering ensued each time. We also had a chance to play some of our classic Felix and Fingers games and perform fresh and upbeat comedy for the guests. Interacting with our guests is something we pride ourselves on, whether that is emceeing, telling jokes, or performing awesome music.
We took requests left and right and loved the variety that we got. One table was all about the 90s hits, and Robert loved keeping up with them, seeing as he is a 90s expert. Some other popular tunes ended up being from Prince and Micahel Jackson. Guests loved dancing to these old classics and kept the dance floor hopping throughout much of the evening. Felix and Fingers had a blast at this Treasure Island Resort Event and hope to perform here again soon!
