Returning to the state of Minnesota is a favorite for Felix and Fingers, even more so for the Renk Seed Corporate Event. This was an amazing corporate event held at the Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, MN. We always enjoy a challenge. The event planner who hired us was unsure if people would be responsive to our show. Not only were they responsive, as a result of our fun show it turned out to be an amazing night! We couldn’t be happier to help make the Renk Seed Corporate Event a success.
Renk Seed Corporate Event Family Night
Whenever we hear we are playing for a large group consisting of families we get excited. This was a room full of farming families. As we took a look around, we saw many eyes staring back at us with uncertainty as to what kind of a show they were in for. We started engaging the crowd by telling a few jokes. Next came asking someone to throw out a request. Within 10 minutes we had over 100 requests on the piano! With an hour and a half to perform we shortened a lot of the songs.
The performers for this evening were Mike Sherman and Greg Percifield of Felix and Fingers. Mike did a wonderful mashup of about 8 songs in 1 for the crowd and they loved it! We were performing in a brand new section of the Mystic Lake Casino. Mystic Lake is one of the largest hotels in the Twin Cities area. One of those Amazing Nights
We can’t say enough about the amazing dinner that left us properly stuffed. Who can resist plated steak and a server who returns with chicken and shrimp from the buffet? Being the crowd had such a kind disposition, we played a LOVE game, everyone LOVED it! After the game the crowd was ready to dance. Meanwhile, a group of energetic kids enjoyed Let It Go.
You know it was going to be one of those nights when Super Bass by Nicki Minaj was requested, we did not disappoint. Furthermore, a performance mashup of 12 different songs including Roar, Bohemian Rhapsody and Thank God I’m a Country Boy had the dance floor on fire. We ended the evening with an encore chant while playing God Bless America. This was a crowd that could really appreciate the song. What a great night!
