Welcome to our Interlachen Country Club Fundraiser Event. Representing Felix and Fingers for this night of fun were our very own Will Krieger and Jake Ashey. Since this crowd was all about partying, this fundraiser was a grand and successful event!
Interlachen Country Club Fundraiser Event Minneapolis Minnesota
Interlachen Country Club is truly amazing. After an easy load-in, friendly staff showed us our space. We overlooked a beautiful golf course on a gorgeous day. This fundraiser even offered 18 holes of golf before our event!
As guests arrived, everyone enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on a second-floor patio. This patio overlooks a stunning golf course. This is also where Felix and Fingers set up, providing background music and taking requests. Our friendly and professional staff didn’t miss a beat. Nailing Requests and Huge Rounds of Applause
Since this was a benefit for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, all of our tips went straight to the fundraiser. Felix loves helping out great causes and this was surely one of them.
As our show heated up, a guest in the audience “jokingly” requested a song by Eminem. Jake nailed this song. Our crowd loved Jake. Even more, Jake wowed the audience with a lengthy, luxurious version of New York State of Mind by Billy Joel. He certainly sounded amazing and our glass tip jar started turning green.
Despacito by Luis Fonsi is almost entirely in Spanish. Again, Felix didn’t believe our crowd expected Jake and Will to be able to perform Despacito. Will and Jake’s tip-jar started to rock and roll by the time they finished. In Spanish.
Above all, Will received a HUGE round of applause after nailing Thrift Shop by Macklemore. This song alone brought in half a tip jar of funds alone! Finally, a group of men sitting right next to us requested Piano Man by Billy Joel. It’s our signature closeout song. So when Felix hit the first notes, they all sang along. Hence, our Interlachen Country Club Fundraiser Event was a fun and successful evening!
