In fact, the Whittaker Woods Country Club was the perfect location for Nikki and Colton’s traditional yet rustic wedding event. Whether your planning a wedding or enjoying a round of golf, Whittaker Woods Golf Course offers something for everyone.
Located in Southwest Michigan, this golf club is expanding it’s residential community, adding tennis facilities and updating it’s event spaces. To begin with, Robert set up his piano outdoors in a sprawling wooded area to play classic wedding songs during a beautiful vow exchange. It was a rainy day, but cleared up just in time for great photos! This was an AWESOME venue for a wedding!
A separate facility from the golf course building held a dining room which connected to a large room with a very cool bar and huge space for dancing. Whittaker Woods offers special event coordinators that will leave you stress free to enjoy your special day. Cocktail hour was a country paradise. The bride and groom were BIG country fans. As guests arrived, Robert greeted everyone with songs such as Honey Bee by Blake Shelton and Pontoon by Little Big Town. Furthermore, bottomless drinks and delicious appetizers were enjoyed as guests two-stepped on the dance floor…country style!
Amazing Sweets Table and Handmade Memories
The Whittaker Woods wedding event allowed everyone to socialize in an environment of simple elegance, enjoy friendly attentive service and dine on great food! Dinner was amazing. Fresh and local flavors were accompanied by well paired wines creating the perfect meal to celebrate Nikki and Colton’s special day. Our performer kept the country vibe with songs such as Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker and RIng of Fire by Johnny Cash. Everyone loved our music so much they were on the dance floor before finishing their meal! After a quick break for speeches and toasts, Robert played a delightful first dance to Crazy by Patsy Cline. We thought it was crazy awesome indeed!
More importantly, the cherry on this event was a gifted, hand-crafted picnic table. Nikki and Colton had asked everyone to sign it before leaving. What a great memory piece! Felix and Fingers fired up the party playing songs such as Sweet Home Alabama by Lynrd Skynrd and Chicken Fried by the Zac Brown Band. We kept the dance floor PACKED all night long!
Felix and Fingers love seeing everyone have a great time and the Whittaker Woods wedding event was exactly that…a GREAT time! Additionally, there was an amazing candy bar for guests to hit up before they went home. The amount of sugar on that table gave everyone enough energy to line dance on the ceiling! Above all, if you’re like us, you probably agree that sparklers for your wedding send off cannot be topped. Therefore, glowing hearts, the couples wedding date and the word L-O-V-E was spelled out during Nikki and Colton’s grand exit. It was AMAZING!
