Felix and Fingers ventured to Detroit, Michigan to help Craig and Stephanie ring in their holy matrimony. The Shelby Gardens wedding was held in the Mediterranean Room, an ideal place for smaller events. We would like to thank Mother Nature for providing sunny weather for this November wedding! Shelby Gardens Wedding Michigan
Felix and Fingers set up their dueling piano show in a great corner stage area next to a dedicated dance floor. It’s always nice when a venue offers a ceremony and reception package making the transport of our equipment convenient. Our performers for the Shelby Gardens wedding were Chris Heroldt and Greg Percifield. Stephanie and Craig exchanged vows in the Mediterranean Room while a small group of family and friends supported them with love. Prior to the bride making her entrance, adorable twin ring bearers walked the aisle to meet up with the wedding party.
After a beautiful ceremony guests enjoyed light instrumental background music with their cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. A few guests took a spin on the dance floor while Lovely Day by Bill Withers was played. When it was time for dinner, guests enjoyed a 3 course delicious dining experience. The filet was so tender it melted in your mouth! Everyone enjoyed exceptional service from a smiling and friendly staff. Furthermore, there was an amazing sweets table in addition to a gorgeous 3 tier wedding cake. No only were there cookie pops and Ho Ho cakes but homemade brownie mixes in mason jars! Florida Elephant Sanctuary and Dirty Dancing
The bride had a passion for elephants. In addition to elephant decorations on the wedding cake these gentle giants were displayed around the banquet room. The bride and groom were dedicating part of their honeymoon to visit an elephant sanctuary for retired circus elephants in Florida. Felix and Fingers had guests up and dancing all night long. To be honest, it was a small crowd and they wanted to chill after dinner but they each took their turns and the dance floor was never empty. When Chris and Greg DJ’ed the song (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life by Bill Medley from Dirty Dancing we were prepared. As someone attempted to jump into the bride’s arms, we were THERE to catch the bride before she hit the ground! Felix and Fingers are prepared for ANYTHING!
