Felix and Fingers went to the town of Gregory to play for this Private Michigan Farm Wedding. What a beautiful day it was in such a picturesque setting. Congratulations to our bride and groom, Chelsea and Christopher!
Private Michigan Farm Wedding
Imagine a small, private affair next to a lake and under a massive old oak tree. The beautiful green pasture, complete with grazing horses and cows, is the backdrop for your romantic farm wedding. This wedding was an intimate affair of family and friends and it all took place right on the farm’s beautiful grounds. The bride arrived in a horse drawn carriage to find her groom waiting under the tree. After a romantic ceremony, the party moved to a grouping of tables to celebrate with a delicious catered meal. They enjoyed shepherd’s pie, stew, and macaroni and cheese all brought in from a local Irish pub. It was truly delicious and a perfect hearty meal for a farm style supper. Following dinner, everyone danced under the tent as Felix and Fingers played all of their requests.

some great music. This group had some awesome country music requests. Chris Stapleton’s Tennessee Whiskey had all the couples swaying under the lights. And everyone was showing off some great moves to Kenny Chesney’s She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.
Felix and Fingers loves small intimate weddings such as this. It seems everyone really connects and we feel like we’re part of the family. Besides country music, we also played rock music from all of the decades. For example, we had a request for Eddie Cochrane’s Summertime Blues as well as Tina Turner’s Proud Mary. We’re an American Band by Grand Funk Railroad made an appearance as did Van Halen’s Jump. It was a great night on the horse pasture with this fun small crowd. It might have been a small party but they were sure big on having a great time.
