Get ready for take-off with this amazing airplane themed party! Our performers Jennifer and Evan headed out to play a super fun piano show at the Howling Hangar birthday party located in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Turning 50 is one of the most important birthdays a person has in their life. This party was a milestone gathering of amazing accomplishments, lavishly celebrated with family and friends. Howling Hangar Birthday Party Harbor Springs
The Howling Hangar birthday party was not only a celebration of honoring a half a century of memories, but victories, struggles and everything in-between. This private birthday bash was held in a giant airplane hangar at our clients stunning home overlooking Little Traverse Bay. Our client had us set up our show in one of the most coolest hangars we’ve ever seen. Our performers set up their stage at one end of a full basketball court! Joe had three private planes parked out back, two that were his friends, offering awesome background photo opportunities!
As guests arrived, Jennifer and Evan knew it was important not just to play whatever songs were popular when Joe was younger. We broke out hip hop and sing a longs for a great party mix up. Cocktail hour started with Crank That by Soulja Boy followed by Swag Surfin’ by Fast Life Youngstaz. To be honest, this small group of guests really knew how to party…gangsta style!
Guest Performers and Airplane Goodies
Airplanes can represent high hopes for the future, adventure and fun excitement so it’s no wonder that the Howling Hangar birthday party was out of this world! This was such a nice and tasteful party, no obvious theme associated with a 50th birthday, just good food and company. As a matter of fact, there were cute little airplane cookies and bottle openers that were also party favors. Our performers did a great job keeping a fun vibe with songs such as Celebration by Kool & the Gang. They also encouraged guests to take a spin on the basketball court aka dance floor. It wasn’t long before the Cha Cha Slide by Casper had guests making new friends!
At one point of the Howling Hangar birthday party Joe’s nephew came up and played a surprise song. Not only did he own the piano with Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey but his vocals NAILED IT. Not to be outdone, another friend of Joe’s grabbed our microphone and sang the traditional Happy Birthday song prompting guests to sing along. It was a wonderful performance leaving Joe with a tear of happiness. Above all, what’s a golden birthday without some fun games? The first game that we played was Name That Tune. Our performers put together a playlist with one song from the past 50 years. We played Joe versus his guests and the guest of honor beat everyone by 10 points with Sugar Sugar by The Archies!
