Sparing no expense, our client graciously hosted a few hundred of their employees in the Grand Ballroom. In all honesty, this was one of the most grand settings for a business occasion we have ever performed at!

Elegance, sophistication and rich history is what Felix and Fingers were greeted with upon arriving at The Pendennis Club in Louisville, KY. Our performers for this incredible formal event were Mike Sherman and Ben Avci. The Pendennis Club service team greeted and took care of everyone with gracious hospitality. This club hosts many special events throughout the year offering full catering services. Our client had rented the ENTIRE BUILDING out for this event. Each room was more beautiful than the next! Interesting fact: The Pendennis Club is considered home of the Old Fashioned cocktail. Hence, servers were walking around with trays of their signature drink. We had to give it a try and it was delicious! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and drink. Furthermore, many guests came up complimenting us on the show, handing us fun song requests to play. Songs such as Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond had our audience singing out loud!
Secretariat Scene
The Pendennis Club was mostly a mingling type of event, so there wasn’t a ton of dancing. In fact, most of the song requests had guests singing more than dancing. We received a ton of great requests. One song in particular had the entire room INCLUDING staff singing out loud in chorus. Who can resist Hey Jude by The Beatles? Not this crowd, they actually sang so LOUD, they DROWNED our pianos out! As we were looking around we noticed our client had set the event from a scene in the movie Secretariat. It surely made for some gorgeous shots!
After speeches and more great song requests, we decided to see if we could bring 200 guests together for a Piano Man by Billy Joel circle. It took a bit of maneuvering but the look of happiness while 200 guests were swaying and singing made us HAPPY! Above all, Mike Sherman drove in from Chicago for The Pendennis Club corporate event. Since the event planning company was also from Chicago, that made it easy. Did we mention the staff with the event company and venue were all on point? They helped make this corporate event a incredible night to remember!
