Fun Parody Songs and Well Dressed Guests
From Anna and Roy’s swanky cocktail reception, to an impeccable dinner, this was one private event you didn’t want to miss. Above all, the bride’s nephew was the first one to request a song. Felix and Fingers were notably ready. This little tyke was about 4 or 5 years old. His mom said it was one of his most favorite songs ever. Felix and Fingers had a BLAST playing All Star by Smash Mouth. In all honesty, it’s one of our favorites! As the night rolled on Anna made up some parody lyrics to American Pie by Don McLean. We learned this quickly during the speeches and for one thing it blended in perfectly. Oh, and by the way, both sides of the family were dressed like royalty. Top notch wedding indeed.
What is more, our crowd requested songs by the Bacon Brothers that we scratched our heads about. They really wanted a specific song played. So, we made a deal. If the mother of the bride would sing it, we would sight read the guitar tab lead sheet. We did this and in the end it turned out AWESOME! Above all, the best part of the night, was the super cool bride and groom handing me a slice of delectable cake to take home to my wife. It was, if fact, delicious. To tell the truth, it was the best red velvet we have ever enjoyed!
