We’ve had quite a few trips over to our neighboring state of Iowa this holiday season. The Herbers Seed Company recently had us in Templeton for their customer appreciation dinner. What a fun night we all had at this Templeton Center Holiday Dinner!

The Templeton Center is a local community center in Templeton, Iowa. It was formerly a Catholic School which the town acquired in 2012. They have put a ton of work into the rehab of this building and now have a fantastic venue. The new banquet hall is just perfect for so many types of events such as weddings, conferences, banquets, or even sporting events. This is a great addition to the town and makes hosting a large party so much easier. The space can hold up to 450 people which is truly a needed venue in an area with not many large spaces. Center Stage
For this Templeton Center Holiday Dinner, we set up right in the middle of the large banquet room. This really helps people feel like we were approachable and before the end of the night, it was like we were all huddled together around a campfire. Don’t 
worry, we didn’t set our pianos on fire though. Well, we kind of did but only in a figurative way. The Herbers Seed customers were totally ready to party and we worked hard to play all of their requests. Throughout the evening, we sprinkled in some of the holiday tunes but made sure to heat things up with songs like Meant To Be by Florida Georgia Line featuring Bebe Rexha. It really became quite the dance party!
The company is owned by a husband and wife team. We originally made the mistake of saying the president and his wife. We were set right very quickly and spent the rest of the evening referring to the male half of the team as the president’s husband. Hey, one can’t assume these days and we’re happy about that. We have no problem with a little good-natured kidding! Also, we loved all of the great toasts that were going out. Holiday parties are the perfect time to show your staff or your customers how much they mean to you.
