For a start, the bride and groom docked their pontoon boat and walked through the Emmetsburg Municipal Utilities Room big glass doors. It was awesome! Furthermore, this community center can set for a cozy gathering, or host a glamorous gala for up to 400 guests. Our performers for the Shores Five Island reception party were Will O’Keefe and Whitney Maxwell. Our client’s were married months back and this was one of the coolest post-wedding receptions Felix and Fingers have ever experienced! During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a charming open view of Five Island Lake while our performers played songs such as Don’t Know Why by Nora Jones. For most guests, cocktail hour is the best, most delicious part of the evening. After all, this gave everyone a chance to mix and mingle while sipping on drinks and sampling a wide variety of hors d’oeuvres. For example, bite sized versions of sliders, corn dogs and even pizza made their rounds. We loved the deep fried mac n cheese on a stick!
Perfect Duets and Adorable Kids
A lot of venues are offering two different dining options, seated dinner and reception style. The bride and groom chose a laid back, buffet style catered dinner. MMMmmmm were those BBQ ribs indeed delicious! We are still thinking about them! Felix and Fingers kept the party moving with songs such as 1999 by Prince and Yeah! by Usher feat. Lil Jon & Ludacris. What is more, we kept the dance floor PACKED playing popular requests such as Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon. Our performers had a TON of FUN playing for this fun loving crowd.
Whitney was the PERFECT dueling piano partner on so many epic duets. To tell the truth, she crushed songs such as Love Shack by The B-52’s and Paradise by the Dashboard Light by Meatloaf! Felix and Fingers love crowd interacting with personal, fun and unique touches. Our show offers comedy and games such as Name That Tune for those guests who can’t clap on the twos and fours. Our fabulous show brings something for ALL AGES! Did we mention a good majority of our guests were kids? Props to Whitney for the wee ones leading with Baby Shark. They were ADORABLE!
