September can be an amazing month for outdoor weddings. Felix recently performed at a private outdoor September wedding celebration located in La Motte, Iowa. Outdoor weddings can be tricky, especially in the Midwest. We couldn’t have actually asked for more perfect weather at this gorgeous farm wedding. Representing Felix and Fingers were our high energy, super fun performers Robert Deason and T. Duncan Parker. These guys brought everyone together in our fantastic dueling piano show way. Hence, our crowd had a BLAST partying all night long. Felix and Fingers wish Katie and Jacob a lifetime of love and happiness!

Private Outdoor September Wedding Celebration La Motte Iowa

Private Outdoor September Wedding CelebrationTo begin with, we couldn’t be happier receiving a call for this amazing wedding. September is a popular wedding month, and with good reason. This private outdoor September wedding celebration’s backdrop was stunning. Colors such as navy, burgundy, hunter green and gold were natural accents to this elegant party. Nature outdid herself on this beautiful day. Held on private property and owned by the groom’s family, the sprawling fields were a perfect backdrop for this intimate ceremony.

Who would have thought the reception would be held in an amazing refinished machine shed? We thought this was so cool! This private outdoor September wedding celebration was super magical from start to finish!

Amazing Pizza and One Happy Crowd

Private Outdoor September Wedding CelebrationFrom a stunning ceremony, to an incredible night of fun, this private outdoor September wedding celebration was epic. In fact, stunning fields of gold and green ceremony backdrop took our breath away. It wasn’t long before guests were enjoying a fabulous cocktail hour. Our performers played light background jazz as everyone mix and mingled. We also DJ’d tons of great dinner tunes such as Last Request by Paulo Nutini. As guests dined on delicious individual thin crust pizza’s from Magoo’s, we played tons of requests. Our fav pizza you ask? Hands down the buffalo chicken pizza for the win!

Duncan, who’s one of our dueling pianists, ended up playing the drums for this private outdoor September wedding celebration. He sounded amazing! Our crowd really enjoyed the depth of Robert’s drums! This fun loving group absolutely ate up 90’s music. So much that we played it all night long. Even more, who knew Wanna Be by Spice Girls would have the grandparents notably shaking a tail-feather. We couldn’t be more happy placing another successful show in our books!
