New Vienna Community Hall Wedding Iowa
The New Vienna Community Hall Wedding was a hoot! Felix and Fingers set up in one of the finest ballrooms in the area. This was a HUGE wedding. In other words, 500+ guests in a town of 300. The New Vienna Community Hall replaces the original Hall built in 1926. This large center features a dance hall on the main floor. Furthermore, there is a council meeting room on the first floor and a jail in the basement!
With attention to detail, the New Vienna Community Hall was built for under $6,000. In fact, in over 75 years the Community Hall held some great events. Taking Care of Business
Our fabulous performers for this evening were Greg Percifield and T. Duncan Parker. You weren’t going to find typical wedding party intro’s at the New Vienna Community Hall wedding. In fact, guests formed a football tunnel and the wedding party ran through it! What an incredible and professional staff working together for such a large group. We found out Andy runs the venue, so without doubt their wedding was flawless. In addition to an amazing dinner, some of the bride’s cheer-leading friends performed a choreographed dance. Taking Care of Business by BTO played out well after dessert.
In case you didn’t know, Greg and T. Duncan like to throw surprises from time to time. In other words, they had their pianos behind curtains for the show. Greg and T. Duncan removed their pianos from behind the curtains for dancing. Of course, it was in fact a great surprise when we started playing! In light of the father/daughter dance, everyone who was close with Emily’s dad shared a dance with the bride Sweet Pea by Amos Lee and The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra were the highlights of this moment.
