Not only did our audience leave happy, but everyone participated in our high-energy dueling piano show. Representing Felix for this night of fun were our very own keyboard kings Robert Deason and Greg Percifield. COVID switched a few things up with this wedding party. Originally planned for Illinois, our client decided to move this gig to Davenport, Iowa. Holiday Inn & Suites Davenport did NOT disappoint. Robert and Greg played a live wedding ceremony and it was beautiful. The weather was actually PERFECT on this brisk October day. Much to our audience’s delight, there were also tons of fun wedding party choreographed intros. Fast forward to the first dance with a relative crooning At Last by Etta James. Our guest sounded amazing as we accompanied her on the piano. A special moment indeed.
Crazy Crowd Chanting and Must Play Songs
Laughter, dancing, singing and crazy crowd chanting. That’s what this Holiday Inn & Suites wedding celebration was all about. Above all, Leslie’s father arranged a slideshow of photos played during the father/daughter dance. We thought that was so sweet! After a delicious dinner, a highlight of our evening was this crazy crowd chanting fight songs. An epic showdown between Florida State and Iowa alumni that will never be forgotten!
Leslie and Taylor requested we begin the night with Country Roads by John Denver. Instead, our audience demanded differently. Everyone decided it was now time to get crazy and instead requested Wap by Cardi B. From that point on the dancing was wild. Who knew Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers would bring out some VERY unique moves? All in all, those “must have” songs definitely brought everyone out on the floor! Felix and Fingers are proud to place another successful show in our books!
