It was off to Clear Lake, Iowa at the K&B Emporium to play for this Gabrielson Clinic Holiday Party. Wow! This was one of our performer Jim’s all time favorite gigs. From the awesome crew at the K&B Emporium to the amazing staff of the Gabrielson Clinic, this was one top notch night indeed.
Gabrielson Clinic Holiday Party
If you’re ever in Clear Lake, Iowa, be sure to check out K&B Emporium. We truly loved this restaurant and it has it all. Really, it does. They offer healthy grab and go options in their café. The retail section has wonderfully unique finds. There is even a 
sweet shop! But our favorite has to be the upper level banquet options. The decor is a cool fusion of modern and rustic with subtle high class notes. This is the perfect spot for a wedding reception, fundraiser, or fun work outing like the Gabrielson Clinic Holiday Party.
Let’s begin by talking about the cocktails. Jayna is the first rate mixologist at K&B and she is truly the star of the show. She made all the signature drinks for the evening and the guests just raved and raved. Delicious! Now the food. Oh my, where do we start? Felix and Fingers has never quite experienced anything like their ROK service. It was probably the most interesting and exciting culinary experiences we’ve ever had. Perfectly aged steaks along with shrimp came out on super hot lava stones. Each guest was able to sear their meal to their own liking. What a great idea and delicious too! Great Staff Equals Great Times
The Gabrielson Clinic is a local gynecological practice and this must be an awesome place to work. Here at Felix and Fingers, we play for a lot of office gatherings and we could easily tell how much fun this group has together. Not only that, they treated us like rock stars. We had such fun playing tunes like Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. One guest performed a rap tune with us and totally destroyed it! It was phenomenal. It was one great song after another and this crowd sang and danced the entire night. We 100% hope to return to play for this group again. You can’t have more fun than this!
