When you have over 500 guests coming to your wedding, you would think a large banquet hall would be necessary.  But when your father owns a farm, you can have it at home!  That’s what Amanda and Zach did for their big day.  Felix and Fingers loved this Gabeline farm wedding.  Read on to see why.

Gabeline Farm Wedding

Gabeline Farm Wedding tentBefore the big day, we were worried about this outdoor wedding in July in Iowa.  July can be a stifling hot, humid mess.  But not this day!  The weather was a perfect 70 something degrees and gorgeous.  What a great day to begin married life for Amanda and Zachery.  There was a very unique renovated barn and a tent that seated 500 overlooking the pond.  It was a beautiful setting.  This couple had so many cute ideas for their wedding.  We particularly liked that the cake was center stage right between our dueling pianos.  Yum!  Plus we had a great view of Amanda smashing some cake in her new husband’s face.  Click here to read about some of our great wedding ideas for your own smashing good time.

Fun Times for All

Zach and Amanda had a ton of friends at their Gabeline Farm wedding and they knew how to party.  We started with one of Gabeline Farm Wedding barnthe best BBQ dinners we have ever had.  After dinner came the dueling piano portion of our entertainment followed by the DJ portion.  This couple and their guests didn’t stop dancing throughout the whole entire evening.  Even with her wedding dress, the bride was still able to “get low.”  Felix and Fingers knows how to keep up, however, so the party rocked all night.  Even when some were having too much fun, if you know what we mean, we were right there with them.

We ended up playing longer than planned as this party just wouldn’t stop.  It was one of the best and the town will be talking about it for quite some time.  It would be hard to top this incredible fun loving group.  Finally, the evening ended with a 15 minute fireworks show that was quite amazing since this was a private party.  As you can Gabeline Farm Wedding couplesee, no expense was spared for this Gabeline farm wedding.  There was even an air conditioned portable toilet trailer.  That was definitely the way to go.
