Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos headed to Des Moines, Iowa to play for the Exile Brewing Employee Event. This was an afternoon affair put on by the American Enterprise company for their employees. It is an annual summer event and we couldn’t have been more happy to be a part of it. It’s always great to see coworkers letting loose and having a good time together.

Exile Brewing Employee Event Venue

Exile Brewing Employee Event patioFelix and Fingers sent two of our awesome performers, Will and Mike S., to perform for this employee appreciation party. This is one dynamic duo and from the sounds of the audience, we could tell they appreciated how well these two work together. The event took up the entire bar and it had the feeling of a public bar show. We truly enjoyed playing at the Exile Brewing Company. This is a great venue with awesome accommodations and of course, excellent beer. If you’re looking for a venue for an upcoming occasion, we give this brewpub our highest recommendation. The staff was amazing and we must give a special shout out to Cody who was particularly helpful. We loved this super friendly and helpful staff and they even had a mini dance party with us as we tore down the show! Please click here to find out more about the Exile Brewing Company.

No Working for This Group

Exile Brewing Employee EventAfternoon shows for corporations is now our performer Will’s favorite types of events. He loves to rock a show with people excited to be out of the office and be home by dinner. In truth, Felix and Fingers never know how these afternoon gigs will go. Sometimes people are shy about letting loose in front of all their coworkers but not this group. They were practically running up to our pianos with request slips and singing and dancing the whole afternoon. Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody had everyone singing at the top of their lungs. It was a sight to behold for sure.

It was also remarkable how much this crowd loved our 90’s rap music. Of course, we had to censor it a bit. This was a work event after all. Dr. Dre’s Nuthin’ But a G Thang and Gin and Juice by Snoop Dog went over real well. Finally, it was time to close the show and head home. We have to say, it felt a bit weird driving home in the daylight but we were sure happy for an early night.
