Felix and Fingers recently dueled for an Orchard Ridge Country Club party, held at their facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The country club opened their doors to members and local businesses/employees for a night of good food and dancing. Everyone had such a fun time at such a beautiful venue! Orchard Ridge Country Club Party
Set upon a gently rolling landscape of rich green grass and aged trees, Orchard Ridge Country Club is home to a premium golf course since its opening in 1924. Before the two-night event, we had time to look around at their top of the line facilities. Pristine place settings, crisp furnishings, and accent lighting decorate the well-kept banquet rooms. Throughout this event, their employees worked hard to keep the space clean and running smoothly. We suggest they pride themselves on exceptional customer relations!
Every year, Orchard Ridge Country Club hosts a dueling pianos event. This was the first year they invited us, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely! As one of the best years yet, the night was filled with laughter, good music, and dancing.
Let’s Rap
To begin, we played light music throughout dinner on both nights. However, the celebration truly began on the second night once the plates had been cleared. Guests moved tables and chairs aside to create room for a dance floor, eager to show off their moves. These Indiana guests sure knew how to have a good time! One woman requested a Salt n Pepa song and was so excited for it that one of our pianists, Jim, lent her his microphone so she could rap along with us. Many guests’ dance moves featured the sprinkler and running man. We even saw a couple people pull out the dougie!
Over all, guests enjoyed their celebration. We are so happy to have been invited to play for Orchard Ridge Country Club and hope to be invited back next year.
