Kennedy Farm Barn Wedding Lizton Indiana
Felix and Fingers packed up and drove North of Indianapolis to the quaint town of Lizton, Indiana. Our performer for the Kennedy Farm Barn Wedding was Robert Deason. It’s definitely one of the best barns we have ever seen! Due to the fact The Barn at Kennedy Farm is an extremely popular event location, there is a wait list. Although the day was overcast, it was indeed warm enough for the ceremony to be held outdoors.
Guests were seated in rows on vintage wood benches and charming rustic chairs. Towering oak trees and rich green pastures added to the amazing views. In the background stood an Amish built, all wood post and beam barn. The ceremony was spacious, quiet and visually gorgeous. Hence, ambiance and photo opportunities were second to none. We can’t sing enough praises about The Barn at Kennedy Farm for the fact that is was simply stunning. We found the staff to be courteous and professional attending to everyone’s needs with great detail. Guests enjoyed cocktails and a delicious catered dinner inside one of Indiana’s most premier barn locations. The desserts were out of this world!
What a Wonderful World
After a few toasts to the bride and groom, we knew for a fact the crowd was ready to party. The Barn at Kennedy Farm has a great space including the layout. Robert set up against a half wall and was literally right on the outside of the dance floor. We like to think this is the perfect location for song requests. In particular, easy access to the tip jar! Furthermore, there was a special voice over for What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. The bride and groom had both sets of parents dance next to them during this song. To tell the truth, Felix and Fingers couldn’t think of a more touching scene and memory!
Felix and Fingers always love a crazy crowd and this was one crazy crowd! The more Robert played his amazing library of party songs, the more the wedding party went nuts. It wasn’t long before guests packed the dance floor. Robert couldn’t believe his ears when everyone sang Don’t Stop Believing by Journey, the crowd literally shook The Barn’s windows!
