Double Tree Hilton Evansville Fundraiser Event Indiana
We’re going to start by giving the Double Tree Hilton AV team a HIGH FIVE. Whether it was moving lights or sound checking, Felix was surely grateful for such wonderful help. Thank you Double Tree Hilton AV team. This fundraiser was held in the hotel’s grand ballroom. Such a classy choice of rooms.
Double Tree Hilton Evansville is also located two blocks from the Children’s Museum of Evansville. Furthermore, Double Tree Hilton is less than 10 minutes from the USS LST Ship Memorial. A Solo Singing Sensation and Successful Fundraiser
When Felix mentioned this hotel has it all, we’re not kidding. Double Tree Hilton Evansville provided a network allowing remote guests on their projector. That’s awesome. Since this was a fundraiser for WNIN TV & Radio (affiliate for NPR) there were tons of super cool auction items. In fact, along with a silent auction, Double Tree Hilton hired an auctioneer. This was to help guests bid on larger items such as diamonds, trips and fine dining experiences. Wow, what a fundraiser!
Once our show started, we couldn’t keep guests off the dance floor. We rocked 80’s songs such as All Night Long, by Lionel Richie, to 2021’s Silk Chiffon by Muna. Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond had EVERYONE singing. Even the event planner was up and grooving. We love this kind of interaction. It’s what Felix is all about.
Above all, there was a very interactive guest who mentioned she could sing. Well, we pulled up some Patsy Cline and she knocked it out of the park. Our players ran into some university students who were networking as TV and Film students for the show. That was surely neat to know. Best part of our Double Tree Hilton Evansville Fundraiser Event? Felix raised over $100.00 for charity with our show. Even the manager asked us about placing us on their proffered vendors list. YES PLEASE!
