To start with, the Blue Chip Casino Hotel wedding event was SO MUCH FUN. Felix and Fingers drove out to Michigan City, Indiana to perform for a large group of PURDUE fans! Everyone danced and sang their hearts out all night long. Our dueling performers for this exciting bash were Joanna Miller and Jim Gritschke. We wish Matthew and Lindsey a lifetime of love and happiness!

As mentioned above, the bride and groom met at Purdue University and are HUGE Purdue fans. We were told the fight song would be requested. Our performers broke the ice during cocktail hour melding Purdue University’s Fight Song into Shout by the Isley Brothers. It worked FABULOUSLY. Right when everyone had their hands in the air waiting for the next step, we played Purdue. Everyone LOVED IT.
Brand New Event Center and Happy Crowd Interaction
This hotel and casino has a new banquet hall called The Fremont Event Center. The Blue Chip Casino Hotel wedding event was the first ever in the new space! Friendly and helpful staff executed a perfectly timed dinner in this beautifully updated room. Furthermore, the Matron of Honor’s speech was amazing. She put a spin on Taylor Swift’s Love Story by replacing the words with lyrics. She sounded AWESOME!
When dancing became secondary during dinner (hitting the bar was primary!) our performers knew exactly what to do. Joanna and Jim played a sweet, slow mashup of At Last by Etta James and All of Me by John Legend that filled the floor and kept the party moving.
Felix and Fingers LOVE interacting with their crowd. During the show, our performers gave the bride a quick piano lesson. Lindsey came up and owned the keys to Old Time Rock and Roll by Bob Seger. Everyone went CRAZY! There was also an “American Idol” singing contest to R-E-S-P-E-C-T by Aretha Franklin. This required the bride and groom to choose a winner together. What a GREAT way to demonstrate everything the lovebirds do from now on is TOGETHER. Above all, the newlyweds were heading to Jamaica for their honeymoon, so we ended our set with Bob Marley’s One Love per their request!
