Felix and Fingers made a triumphant return to the Illinois Beach Resort recently for the Fresenius Medical Group’s holiday party. The last time we were there, we were on the lower level of the building for a surprise birthday party over the summer (you can read about it here!) This time, we were on the main floor in the Grand Vista Ballroom. As it turns out, the Illinois Beach Resort offers just as beautiful a view of the lake in the winter as it does in the summer!

At Felix and Fingers, we always have fun doing all of our shows! But, boy, do we love a crowd that loves to have fun, too. Fresenius Medical Care was a tight-knit group of folks that was excited to be at their year-end “elegant evening,” and we were excited to be their entertainment! From the way they interacted with each other, you’d think they were a company specializing in friendship. Turns out, they’re the winners of Forbes’ World’s Most Innovative Companies in 2011, 2012 & 2013! Maybe that’s the secret to success… employees that party together, win together. 🙂
Illinois Beach Resort
Located in Zion, IL, the Illinois Beach Resort backs right up (and I mean RIGHT up) to Lake Michigan, offering beautiful views from their ballrooms AND hotel rooms! As they say, with great beauty comes great responsibility, and the Illinois Beach Resort delivers. They offer lots of vacation packages from romantic couples’ getaways to family retreats, as well as catering and wedding planning! Personally, my two experiences there were for a birthday party and a corporate event in two separate rooms, and each had their own unique flair and personal touches. Different as they were, both had a common thread of a professional staff and a beautiful setting!
