Choosing a good theme can turn an ordinary fundraising event into a great one. Not only was the Bull Valley Country Club fundraiser a GREAT event, but Felix and Fingers gave this audience a real reason to sit up and take notice of a great cause. We were thrilled when our client, Pioneer Center contacted us once again to bring our show to the country club for their Moonlight & Music fundraiser located in Woodstock, Illinois. Cheers to a successful evening!
Bull Valley Country Club Fundraiser Woodstock IL
Silent auctions are an awesome way to meet with your donors face to face and make new friends while having fun. The Pioneer Center, located in McHenry, Illinois is a non-profit charitable organization providing direct services to thousands of people each year. Furthermore, the Pioneer Center also provides education and outreach to schools and community organizations. This fundraiser was to raise money to help all those services and more. Our performers for this outdoor event were Jennifer Lee Knuth and Robert Deason. This was a super fun show with a stunning venue. The team had us outside on the patio where we had guests chairs set up in “round” style. We noticed there weren’t really a ton of requests at the Bull Valley Country Club fundraiser, but we did see a lot of people singing along and smiling!
Twinkling Lights and Outdoor S’mores Bar
Each raffle prize at this event was valued at over $600 a piece. For example, day trips to a ton of places around the suburbs, as well as a full sized grill. During dinner we played background music as everyone mingled and enjoyed their meal.
Want to know what we think was the cutest part of the Bull Valley Country Club fundraiser? One of the ladies who volunteers at Pioneer Center brought twinkling lights to set up behind us while we played. Once the sun set, it made for a gorgeous background!
Our audience had an amazing time indeed singing along with us. Billy Joel, Elton John and lots of piano bar classics were the hits of the night. It’s always fun to see who recognizes those first few notes of Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. Between their eyes lighting up and the smile on their face, the next best thing is hearing them sing. And sing they did. At the tops of their lungs. Everyone had a great time!
Above all, Jennifer and Robert proudly helped raised nearly $9,000 dollars for Pioneer Center. A generous donor matched that number hence bringing the total to $18,000.00! During our piano show, there was an announcement it was time for everyone to open up and look in their gift bags. One lucky winner received a gift certificate for a diamond from a local jewelry store. Now if that’s not THE COOLEST surprise prize ever, we don’t know what is!
Felix and Fingers had a BLAST helping raise funds at the Bull Valley Country Club fundraiser. Everyone at this event was incredibly kind and social. We LOVED seeing everyone coming together for a great cause. Our performers made SO MANY awesome new friends!
