Felix and Fingers were excited to perform in West Dundee, Ilinois for the Randall Oaks wedding. We love the great outdoors and country clubs provide spectacular views for ceremonies. The Randall Oaks Golf Club staff were some of the friendliest people we have worked with. It was indeed a perfect and relaxed day enjoyed by all. Congratulations Tarah and Brendan!
Randall Oaks Wedding West Dundee
The Randall Oaks wedding ceremony took place outdoors under a beautiful waterfront gazebo. Being that it was mid-summer, temperatures soared into the upper 90’s. We were lucky this was an early evening ceremony and the sun started setting allowing some relief. To start with, guests were treated to amazing views of the golf course while the bride and groom exchanged vows. Our performers for the Randall Oaks wedding were Jim Gritschke and Greg Percifield. As the bride walked down the aisle, Felix and Fingers performed a traditional wedding march as guests stood and adored Tarah’s beauty.
Remember the friendly staff we mentioned above? The Randall Oaks wedding staff outdid themselves. As a matter of fact, they helped us move our pianos after the ceremony to the banquet room for an amazing reception. As guests entered the banquet room, Jim and Greg played instrumental background jazz to accompany a cocktail and butler passed hors d’oeuvres hour.
More importantly, dinner was the bomb! The prime rib was perfect with a side of rosemary au jus while roasted red potatoes and steamed broccoli completed a chef inspired plate. The bride and groom each have their own dogs and were excited to bring them together as one family. In view of Tarah and Brendan’s love for their dogs, there were silhouettes of their pups on their wedding cake! Rockin’ the Entire Evening!
Felix and Fingers never have a problem packing the dance floor. After the bride and groom performed their first dance (which they choreographed themselves) Jim and Greg lit the dance floor on fire. The Randall Oaks wedding was a request heavy show. We managed to knock off the ENTIRE request pile off our pianos keeping everyone happy. Hence, the dance floor was never empty, including one groomsman performing the most unique dance moves at a wedding we’ve ever seen.
In addition to a lit dance floor, there was a shuttle running 3 to 4 times during the evening. Nobody was hopping aboard as everyone wanted to stay and dance! The bride had previously seen our show and therefore wrote a fabulous article about us in the local newspaper. Felix and Fingers could not be happier that we made such a strong and positive impression!
