This United Way Fundraiser took place at Fatty’s Pub & Grille in Dekalb, Illinois. Felix and Fingers performers Katrina and Sam had a blast with this crazy group. We played all sorts of fun requests and felt like we made a bunch of new friends.
United Way Fundraiser Venue
Fatty’s Pub & Grille was the perfect location for this United Way Fundraiser. We found a very fun-loving group of people who were dedicated to raising money for such a great cause. Fatty’s served some great pub food which we couldn’t get enough of. Make sure you try the cheese curds and wings; they are so good. We’re sure their regular bartenders are great but for this event, attendees were treated to celebrity bartenders. These were all coaches from Northern Illinois University and they did a fabulous job. Putting the Fun in Fundraising
Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos loves fundraisers! We do a ton of them and our performers are top-notch at helping organizations raise money. For example, all of the tips we bring in go directly back to your cause. We brought in over $500 in tips for this United Way Fundraiser at Fatty’s. Not only that, but when folks hear we’re going to be performing at an event, there’s sure to be a crowd. We make fundraising super fun!
We had all sorts of requests during this event and the dancing was amazing. This group didn’t stop. Darius Rucker’s Wagon Wheel was a huge hit as was Lady Gaga’s Poker Face. We had a great time playing Walk the Line from Johnny Cash and the sing-a-long to Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline about blew the roof off. All in all, it was another great show for Felix and Fingers and a huge success for The United Way.
