Felix and Fingers love playing at the Thelma Keller Convention Center Christmas Party. Indeed, it’s one of our favorite places to perform. Moreover, the Thelma Keller Convention Center is located in central Illinois. Additionally, they offer flexible exhibit and meeting space. Large group? Small group? The Grand Ballroom is 10,500 square feet. For instance, space can be divided to meet your specific needs. It can accommodate from 10 to 1,500 people. Furthermore, dance floors, lighting, and staging are available for performances. What is more, for your dining pleasure, an outstanding selection of fine cuisine will please all guests. Their highly trained staff will make you feel “extra special”. Not to mention, Director Patty Greene goes above and beyond to help you plan the perfect event. Feasting and Merrymaking
As a matter of fact, dinner was outstanding. Indeed, fried chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes pleased everyone. Further, there was yummy fettuccine Alfredo! Signature drinks kept everyone happy. Ervin Equipment gave out holiday bonuses. They had a gift tree that included Apple watches, paid days off, and cash! As a matter of fact, all guests loved the “gift tree”! After dinner and bonuses, people were ready to get down!
The big hit of the evening was It’s Tricky by Run DMC. Even more, they loved 80’s and 90’s music. The dance floor remained packed all night! We had a dance off to Michael Jackson’s Beat It. It was a fierce competition. We threw in some Macarena by Los Del Rio, Whoomp! (There It Is) by Tag Team, and finished the evening with Mama Said Knock You Out by LL Cool J! Additionally, we got to meet members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They happened to be staying at the same hotel as us. They had a show in Effingham that weekend. Furthermore, it was an honor to have them check out our performance! Felix and Fingers had a fantastic evening.
