Super Hero Dessert Bar at the Jane Fargo Hotel
We get to play a lot of really amazing corporate events and weddings for Felix and Fingers, but fundraisers are always some of my favorites! It’s great to work hand in hand with a group to help give back to a worthy cause, and this past weekend was no exception! Mike and I headed to Sycamore, Illinois to help duel up some serious money for the Sycamore Education Foundation, held at the beautiful Jane Fargo Hotel.

Silent Auction at the Jane Fargo Hotel
This annual fundraiser is held each summer, in order to raise money for the amazing school system in Sycamore. Each year has a unique theme, and this was no exception! All of the workers donned their own unique “super hero” costumes. I’ve literally never seen so many tutus in my life.
The different rooms within the Jane Fargo Hotel were all transformed, and filled with awesome deserts, great drinks, an insane silent auction, and the best dueling pianos show in town, If I do say so myself. Throughout the evening, the foundation managed to increase it’s money raised by 50% from last year! All of our tips were also donated back to the cause, and we were able to raise nearly $700.00 in just a few hours. The people of Sycamore were incredibly generous, and it was clear that this is a cause that means a lot to them.

Located in the heart of Sycamore’s quaint downtown district, this hotel has an incredible and unique charm, and is perfect for any number of events. The variety of room and venue options offers you the option of a small intimate gathering, or a large multi-room party, and the cool vintage feel of the space makes it a one of a kind option for any gathering. The staff was incredibly accommodating the entire evening, and we felt right at home!
All in all, we had a BLAST partying with the town of Sycamore, and helping to support their amazing school district! We home to check out the Jane Fargo Hotel again in the near future!
