The Pheasant Run Resort Wedding was at a unique event venue resembling Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Felix and Fingers returned to the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois to perform at Stephanie and Eric’s wedding. If you are searching for a romantic yet naturally beautiful resort, Pheasant Run is indeed the perfect location for your special event. In all honesty, we need to let you know the weather was not cooperating (a bit too cold) so the Pheasant Run Resort wedding was moved inside. Despite this, the bride and groom exchanged vows under a beautiful pergola in a nicely decorated event room. After the ceremony, imagine how neat it was to stroll through hallways decked out with shops, game rooms and bars heading towards the New Orleans ballroom reception! A Special NOLA Venue
Our performers for the Pheasant Run Resort wedding were Mike Potts and T. Duncan Parker. Cocktail hour was a grand time as Mike and T. Duncan set up their pianos on “Bourbon Street” to play some ragtime jazz standards. For the reception, we moved our pianos up on a large, built-in stage with automated curtains and screen in the New Orleans ballroom. Moreover, a spacious wooden dance floor was surrounded by beautifully decorated dining tables. We were all properly stuffed with an AMAZING, 5 course dinner that was presented by friendly and attentive staff. That is to say, it was near the top of the our list for “Most food we have ever eaten at a wedding!”.
What made the Pheasant Run Resort wedding even more special was that the groom is a guitarist for our company. With this in mind, the groom worked alongside us on some neat requests. To start with, and we quote, Eric requested, “Aja/Gaucho era Steely Dan albums played in their entirety” for dinner music. We couldn’t be happier to oblige! We are indeed proud to say that Felix and Finger’s play one of the largest selections of live or recorded music for your event out there! One of the highlights during the Pheasant Run Resort wedding was that Eric leaned how to play Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You by Frankie Valli. He sat behind one of our piano’s and performed an extremely touching rendition of this song for his wife!
