In late November, Felix and Fingers had the chance to play for a wedding at The Seville in Streamwood, Illinois. This venue and area have lots to offer guests and this Seville Wedding did not disappoint. To learn more about this venue, please click here!
The ceremony for Bill and Natalie was held at a church prior to the reception held at this venue. This wedding had a large guest list and The Seville accommodated all of the guests with great, friendly service. Beautiful chandelier lights hung from the ceiling and elegant place settings and decorations filled the reception hall. Everything about this place had class, elegance, and style. The appetizers and dinner kept guests content and full throughout the night.
The Seville Wedding
We love playing for large crowds, and this crowd was especially lively and energetic. The majority of the crowd held a Polish heritage, so we ended up playing a lot of Polish dance tunes. We played “Sto Lat” near the beginning of the night, which is a Polish birthday song since someone in the family had a birthday that fell on the wedding day. Many guests knew the words to all the different dance tunes, so they danced and sang along without missing a beat! We played a wide variety of songs and accepted all sorts of requests. This crowd danced from 9 PM to 2 AM, so we had plenty of time to fill with great music. By the end of the night, hearts were full and feet were tired. Felix and Fingers loved playing here for this wedding and hope to be back again one day!
