Felix and Fingers always love returning to perform at the Royal Melbourne Country Club. The members at Royal Melbourne are kind, caring, generous and down to Earth people. We LOVE entertaining for them! Special props to Ali at the bar. He is about as professional as it gets. He was slinging cocktails and glasses of wine with a smile during our Royal Melbourne Country Club Private Event!
Special Birthday Surprise and Awesome Requests
There was a special birthday in the house on the evening we performed. In fact, there was a 41st birthday party happening during the event. Let’s just say their table was wild and fun the whole evening! Tons of birthday party goers coming up with requests and partying all night long. We thought that was FUN.
Above all, dinner was amazing. Not only did they serve top shelf for this private event, but the meat carving stations were the bomb. A decadent whole striped bass was served with a citrus jalapeno sauce. Still hungry? How about some prime rib and prosciutto wrapped asparagus? Oh wait, how can we forget the sticky rice with grilled jalapeño! On the other hand, dessert was just as delicious with house made chimichurri’s. Cinnamon sugar perfection at it’s best!
After a glass or two of top shelf liquor, this crowd was ready to PAR-TAY!! The dancing never stopped. Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson never fails to kick it into full gear. Katrina and Jim made sure every song request was played and their audience was so happy. There were awesome song requests such as Dolly Parton’s Jolene. We also played a perfect Ariana Grande cover, Positions.
On the other hand, we received a Welcome to The Jungle song request by Guns and Roses. Katrina and Jim knocked it out of the clubhouse! All in all, the Melbourne Country Club Private event was a success and another great show in our books!
