An eager crowd greeted Jake Ashey and Maddy Ludwig excitedly at The Standard Corporate Union Event. This is a premiere rooftop venue located in the heart of Rockford, Illinois. Felix loves returning to perform at The Standard. Everyone had a blast!

The Standard Corporate Union Event was a celebration for Union Local 23 construction workers in Rockford, IL. There were actually over 150 jovial guys and gals in attendance. Quite a party crowd indeed. Our event organizer, Tim Huff was a pleasure to work alongside with. He made sure everything ran like clockwork.
The Standard is an elegant, multi-purpose event venue. Located on Main Street, this multi-level industrial yet chic interior was absolutely top-class and breathtaking. Furthermore, you and your guests will find The Standard’s touches of glam, such as lighting and furniture out-of-this-world. Even more, a four-season rooftop conservatory will blow everyone away. In all honesty, one of the best views in downtown Rockford. The Standard Corporate Union Event ran smoothly with the help of friendly and professional staff. A Night of Dancing, Drinking, and Fun!
Let’s talk about grub and drinks. The Standard Corporate Union Event spared no expense. To begin with, our bartender, Tim, really knew what he was doing behind an open bar. All guests mentioned how delish the drinks were. Definitely a few steps up from standard mixed cocktails. And the food you ask? Well, there was an INCREDIBLE selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres before our show started. Everything from pizza to bacon-wrapped shrimp. We loved it all!
As the second half of our show started, there was a ton of dancing right off the bat. One of our guests was tearing up the floor the entire evening. 68 years old and still killing it! Our performer Jake shredded The Devil Went Down to Georgia, by the Charlie Daniels Band. Without a doubt, our crowd couldn’t get enough of this song. Afterward, Maddy fired up her keys with an amazing rendition of Proud Mary by Ike & Tina Turner. When she belted out this song it was an absolute classic.
Lastly, Tim, our client, came up and sang the chorus of Piano Man, by Billy Joel. To sum up, between our show and Tim’s voice, this was one amazing dueling piano event!
