Prairie Street Brewhouse Wedding

A gorgeous 80 degree day in October found Felix and Fingers playing for this Prairie Street Brewhouse Wedding. Congrats to Amanda and Jason on a beautiful wedding!

This two-story venue in Rockford, Illinois was the setting for Amanda and Jason’s big day. To begin, the couple exchanged their vows in the beautiful ceremony location directly behind the brewery. It was so pretty and right on the water. The river views were pretty and peaceful and gave the ceremony an extra bit of something special. Returning inside for the reception, guests were happy to find great service and excellent food. “Especially the shrimp!” reported our performer.

The venue supplied its own lighting technician which was super cool. There was a gorgeous globe with multi-colored up-lighting that he changed with the beat of the music. This really added to our performance and for certain helped get everyone in the mood for partying. Romance Ruled the Night

Felix and Fingers performers Mike and Gregg, like all of our performers, will put on a great dueling piano show and then follow it with a DJ portion so you can hear all of your favorites in their original version. We do a great DJ show but are always secretly proud when the dance floor is more packed for our live session than the DJ session. That was the case here! We had a ton of country requests which we love. And also, we had quite a few requests for the slow romantic songs. This was a romantic crowd and the dance floor was packed with swaying love birds. We hope to see Amanda and Jason like this someday far in the future when we run in to them at another wedding. Congratulations! We loved playing for your Prairie Street Brewhouse Wedding!
