We recently had a lovely day at the Railside Golf Course wedding event in Gibson City, Illinois. They held the outdoor ceremony right on the golf course which made for some beautiful views. A Special Railside Golf Course Wedding Event
The decorators went all out to give this wedding a rustic, old-timey farmhouse aesthetic. The venue staff mentioned they’d never seen it look so good. We wouldn’t be too surprised if the clubhouse suddenly got some wagon wheels to hang from the walls on a more permanent basis in the future. The food delighted everyone too. Our favorite were the extra large gourmet pizzas compliments of the groom. You can never go wrong with pizza!
Here Comes the Calvary!
Right after dinner, the party almost doubled in size. Apparently quite a lot of the bride and groom’s friends were at the Cub’s game and came right after. They’d won their first pennant in almost 70 years, so you know everyone was ready to party! The extra guests made space a bit cramped, but we can fit the show anywhere! This turned out to be one of the best crowds we’ve played for. Surprisingly, hip hop dominated the night. The Cupid Shuffle started us off, but we also got down to Backstreet’s No Diggity and Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby. The highlight of the night had to be Snoop Dogg’s Gin and Juice when everyone raised their glasses (gin filled or not) to sing along.
