Felix and Fingers star pianists were off to McHenry, Illinois to play for this beautiful Private Waterfront Wedding. What a wonderful family and group of friends our bride and groom, Christina and Michael, have. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Private Waterfront Wedding
This was a gorgeous wedding right on the water in McHenry, Illinois. The views were particularly amazing and the early summer weather made for a spectacular day. Christina and Michael outdid themselves with the décor and design for their special day. The seating chart had each table labeled as a different type of fish. Since the groom is an avid fisherman, this was a super fun way to add that personalized touch. We also especially enjoyed the boathouse/bar conversion. And this led to an extended cocktail hour which was perhaps a factor in the hilarious pre-dinner speeches. We knew, then, it was going to be a very fun night. Dinner was delicious with catered BBQ and late-night snack included woodfired pizzas. Delicious. The family members all chipped in with a variety of treats for the sweets table. It was inspiring to see how this group all came together to make this event happen.
Choreographed Routines and Awesome Dance Moves
Our couple had taken dance lessons and performed a wonderful choreographed routine for their first dance. It was superb. We saw wide grins on all their friend’s and family’s faces, and maybe even a few tears of joy. After this, everyone was ready to party and hit the dance floor hard. Nickleback’s Rockstar brought out some awesome moves as did Everybody from The Backstreet Boys. The 90’s boy band requests continued with N’Sync’s Bye, Bye, Bye. Oh, what fun this group was having on the dance floor. They could teach their own dance lessons, for sure!
