We’ve been writing about a lot of barn weddings lately as they have been quite popular. But this Barnacopia Wedding Event showed us a whole different level of barn wedding. Wow! What a cool event venue! Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos were excited to check this place out and to play for the wedding of Emily and Josh. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Barnacopia Wedding Event Venue

Barnacopia Wedding Event venueBarnacopia in Polo, Illinois is truly a sight to behold. From the outside, it looks like a traditional, yet very large, barn. But on the inside you will find all kinds of surprises! It is four levels of wonder and even has an elevator so each space is easily reached. You will find antique farm machinery, antique cars, a “drive in” movie theater, a 1950’s era diner, and more. You can even spend the night as they have two whirlpool room suites.

Dinner and cocktails took place next to the 50’s style diner complete with checkered floor, gum ball machines, and a replica of a milkshake bar. Since Barnacopia can accommodate up to 400 people, we had plenty of space for our dance floor. There is even a game room on the third floor for even more fun. Please click here to view this exceptional property. They are open for all types of events, not just weddings. You’re going to be very impressed!

Barn Wedding Fun

Barnacopia Wedding Event soda fountainBecause of the sheer size of the venue, we used our wireless speaker set up. That way, everyone could hear the music and the speeches throughout the venue. After the touching speeches during dinner, it was time for cake cutting and the father/daughter dance. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as our performer Jim played I Loved Her First by Heartland.

And then it was time to party! There were a ton of country music requests, both old and new. First, we played Loretta Lynn’s I’m a Honky Tonk Girl and I’ve Been Everywhere from the legendary Johnny Cash. You Make it Easy from Jason Aldean and Scott McCreary’s This is It also made our list. We kept busy keeping up with all the requests and are proud to announce that between two hours of dueling pianos followed by a DJ set, we were able to cover every single one. That’s right. Just like Donna Summer, we work hard for the money!
