Titanium Force Cheer Squad Fundraiser Pekin Illinois
Location, location, location. Felix and Fingers have reached the BIG-TIME, playing in a DOME!! Our performers for the Titanium Force Cheer Squad fundraiser were Jennifer Lee Knuth and Chris Heroldt. Felix and Fingers love the energy between these two fantastic players. Both are insanely talented and such awesome people! In fact, Jennifer and Chris confidently raised over $1,800.00 for the Titanium Force Cheer Squad. The money raised went towards sending the cheer squad to Disneyland for finals competition. Since this competition was in WARM and sunny Florida, Felix and Fingers wondered if they could go along!
Felix and Fingers are experts in fundraising. There’s a reason we keep coming back to some of the same organizations year after year, we raise a TON of money! The Titanium Force Cheer Squad fundraiser was held at Avanti’s Dome in Pekin, Illnois. Pekin is a quaint, rural town that organized itself in 1827 holding rich ancestral and Native American history. Furthermore, the Avanti’s Dome is a 33 acre complex offering a 3,000 sq. ft. Zeller Banquet Center, with the capability of separating into two rooms. Raising Money for a Great Cause
Felix and Fingers had a blast performing for the Titanium Fore Cheer Squad fundraiser. In all honesty, we played a successful show matching everyone’s needs. This allowed the audience to enjoy an amazing interactive experience. As song requests piled up on our pianos, Jennifer and Chris brought out the laughs, sing along and dancing. To start with, our performers built crowd interest and had guests digging deep into their pockets during the silent auction. Our interactive show allows people of all ages to join in the fun and truly enjoy the experience. For example, Chris had tables donating money to get their favorite guest standing on a chair and sing along to Under the Boardwalk by The Drifters. Everyone LOVED his performance and the talented singer raised over $100!
Getting people to attend a fundraising event might take a little coaxing, but the promise of good food is sure to help. The Titanium Force Cheer Squad fundraiser dinner hit it out of the dome with a mouthwatering selection of foods. We couldn’t get enough of the Parmesan chicken, Au Gratin potatoes and green beans with bacon. Felix and Fingers provided a variety of light background music through dessert. We saved room for the New York cheesecake and it was amazing!
Talent Galore
We found out quickly there was talent galore at our show. As a matter of fact, audience participation on the mic had the crowd wild and crazy. Felix and Fingers enthusiastically welcomed people up on their stage to sing along to songs such as Love Shack by the B-52’s and Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey. We also had guests waving Benjamin’s for songs such as Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice and Ex’s & Oh’s by Elle King. We made sure this cheer squad was going to Disneyland!
Ever been to one of those events where EVERYONE is on the dance floor and having fun? The Titanium Force Cheer Squad fundraiser not only had staff AND squad members going nuts, but our client Misty got up and sang a duet with her husband. Misty has booked Felix and Fingers for the past SIX years at this fundraiser, so it was great to see them sing together, PLUS they raised over $100.00 with their duet! Our performers loved reaching out to this crowd. Jennifer and Chris had one of the guests dance to Billie Jean by Michael Jackson for charity. In addition to dancing, other guests kept coming up and paying for him to unbutton his shirt. We made sure to announce that they could also pay for him to button them back up! Our silliness was a hit with the crowd.

All in all, Felix and Fingers were proud in being part of another successful money raising show. We decided to close out the Titanium Force Cheer Squad fundraiser with a light competitive nature between Cubs and Cardinal fans. Jennifer and Chris raised a TON of money starting and stopping Go Cub Go! In conclusion, hearing guests ask us “Weren’t you guys in Peoria last night?” and “Did I see you in Kankakee last week?” had our performers smiling confidently. The answer is always YES…Felix and Fingers are everywhere!
