We all gathered together for a Drury Lane English Room event in late September for a corporate event. Felix and Fingers had the honor of playing this event for the second year in a row. Drury Lane English Room Event
This late night get-together was for a conference of Human Resources personnel from all over Illinois.The venue is a stylized entertainment room behind a larger restaurant. The place has a very classy atmosphere to it which only added to the event. They had great food, including a hot pretzel bar which we definitely took advantage of. The staff was just as great as the food and hot pretzel bar and they were very helpful throughout the entire event.
Dancing All Night Long
We played plenty of fresh hits all night long at this Drury Lane English room event and kept the energy flowing. The variety of requests kept the music popping and kept the people bopping. This event included a milestone for me, where I performed “Rap God” for the first time ever and the crowd went wild for it. Later, we played songs like “Uptown Funk” and “24K Magic” and the guests just could not stop dancing.
The drinks flowed and the dancing followed that. We had some fun line dances and even had a guest request a special song so that she could come up on stage to sing along with us. They did a great job! Everyone had a blast and they requested that we stay thirty extra minutes past the time the event should have ended. We hope to be back next year because it is always a riot playing and performing for this group.
