The Mount Zion Convention Center Community Splash Pad Fundraiser in Mount Zion, Illinois was a blast! Indeed, Felix and Fingers were front and center on a fantastic stage. Make A Splash Fundraiser
Dinner was fantastic! We enjoyed some insanely tasty cheesy potatoes. To be honest, they were the highlight of the buffet. So yummy! The Make A Splash Fundraiser consisted of live and silent auctions. The array of donated items to be auctioned off was impressive. Additionally, they gave away a wheelbarrow full of goodies to the lucky person that drew the 6 of hearts in a card draw game! As was previously stated, Felix and Fingers so enjoy a good fundraiser. Therefore, we donated all of our tips back to the cause!
We had a great time listening to all the toasts. The emcee used Ron Swanson quotes from the television show Parks and Recreation. Since this fundraiser was for the Mount Zion Parks and Recreation Department everyone loved all the quotes. We skillfully rewrote the lyrics of Tupac’s California Love into Mount Zion Love. The place went wild! We had a wide variety of song requests. Shania Twain to Eminem and back again! Some of the ladies had a moon-walking competition during Billie Jean by Michael Jackson. Everyone was a winner! All in all, we had a fantastic evening. We love coming back to Mount Zion for their fundraisers. The Mount Zion community is a lot of fun!
