Can you imagine holding your next public or private event in a great outdoor museum among flora and fauna?  The Morton Arboretum Wedding was a magical event located in Lisle, Illinois.  Here you will find some of the most stunning plant and tree collections from around the world.  Felix and Fingers have never seen such natural beauty situated on 1,700 acres.  Congratulations Jillian and Andrew!

A Beautiful Morton Arboretum Wedding

Morton Arboretum WeddingWhether you are an avid nature conservationist or someone who simply enjoys the great outdoors, The Morton Arboretum has something for everyone.  With a haven of magnificent trees and stunning landscape, the variety of events you can hold at the Morton Arboretum is unlimited.  If you are dreaming of a memorable event, The Morton Arboretum has venues for every occasion.  What is more, each venue comes with it’s own picturesque view.  If you would like to hold your next special event at The Morton Arboretum please click here for further information.

One word…BEAUTIFUL!  This is exactly what Felix and Fingers thought upon entering the Gingko Room at The Visitors Center in The Morton Arboretum.  The Gingko Room looks compact although can easily fit 250 guests in addition to a dance floor.  The Gingko Room overlooks a lake path and is truly stunning.  Stunning walls of glass offered magnificent seasonal views. Hence, surprise visits from birds and wildlife are in constant view.  A delicious and well plated meal was served in tandem and presented by Gingko Catering. The bride and groom provided a special late night snack with a burrito bar and it was a hit!   If you would like to have Gingko Catering provide fine culinary dining at your next special event, please click here for menu and further information.

Blow Up Guitars and Original Songs

Morton Arboretum WeddingOur performers for the Morton Arboretum wedding were T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason.  We would like to point out that during Jillian and Andrew’s toast, the bride’s sister surprised her with an original song.  Jillian’s brother played the guitar while his sister sang, therefore this made the moment even more special!  The bride and groom requested live music during cocktails, although you get more bang for your buck with live music for dinner, at least we think so.  Not long after dinner the dance floor quickly started filling up.  Jillian and Andrew are big fans of 90’s and country music.  A highlight of this evening was when T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason made sure to play a favorite Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks.  The crowd loved it!

You know everyone is going to have a great time when the bride and groom bring out party favors.  Jillian and Andrew couldn’t wait to hand out blow up guitars, mics and light up wands.  This really had the guests getting into spoofs of singing while grooving on the dance floor!  2 huge jars of tips were donated for the purpose of the couple’s honeymoon fund.  As a matter of fact, the lovebirds are headed to Maui and we hope they make amazing memories!
