The weather was in everyone’s favor at our Morton Arboretum Wedding Celebration. A beautiful, sunny day in the middle of April was certainly pure luck. With fluctuating weather during Spring season, Felix never knows what we’ll be working with. Not only did our performers nail this Lisle, Illinois show, but everyone went home happy! Felix and Fingers wish Maria and Joe a lifetime of love and happiness!

Representing Felix for our Morton Arboretum Wedding Celebration were our very own Kaleen Dolan and Jim Gritschke. Our super-fun, high-energy duo brought interactive fun, dancing and singing all night long. We had an incredible family dynamic at this early day celebration. As mentioned above, this couple was extremely lucky to have the ONLY sunny, 80 degree day in April. In fact, Felix recommends The Morton Arboretum for any special occasion. Our Morton Arboretum Wedding was held in the Thornhill Education Center, which is a magical room indeed.

A Lovely Morton Arboretum Wedding

Morton Arboretum Wedding CelebrationTo begin with, our Morton Arboretum Wedding Celebration was small and intimate. Kaleen and Jim met everyone in person. Felix loves making new friends. The couple’s ceremony was all live piano in an old country style room. Did we mention The Morton Arboretum staff were indeed on the ball every second? Our Morton Arboretum Wedding actually ran like clockwork. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Daytime weddings mean a more intimate show. Hence, lots of comedy involved, and deliriously tired guests enjoying a stress free laugh. It’s always great to break the ice and help our crowd get into the show. Furthermore, the father-daughter dance was extremely special and emotional. The bride’s dad is not very mobile, relying on a wheelchair. The father managed to stand up and actually dance with his two daughters. Not a dry eye in the room.

Cocktail hour, dinner, speeches and dessert were a hit. We surely loved playing background music to all. Our guests really enjoyed all the jokes between us. They especially loved when we improvised popular line dances such as Wobble by VIC. Kaleen and Jim played a variety of music all night long. Who knew ABBA’s Dancing Queen would bring smiles? Everyone flooded the dance floor and had a great time grooving. Felix’s signature song of the night was Piano Man by Billy Joel. Our performers had everyone make a circle around the bride and groom while singing and swaying to Piano Man. What a notably great way to end a memorable wedding!
